Meet The Team

Kerr Manson ran global strategy at Molson Coors and business unit strategy at MillerCoors for over ten years. Prior to that, Kerr was a consultant at IBM and PwC. In 2020 he established Breakout-Growth Partners to help companies with their growth strategies. Most recently he has been supporting biopharma companies.

 

He has experience in international markets, including Asia and Europe. Over his career, Kerr has driven profitable growth by focusing on top-line expansion, operational improvements, and effective resource management. Kerr breaks down and simplifies ambiguous problems into executable milestones. He derives insights through practical, structured problem-solving, statistical analysis, and machine learning.

 

Kerr is pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business with a research focus on the application of AI to strategic decision-making. Kerr has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and recently completed a graduate certificate in data analytics at the Harvard Extension School. He also holds an MSc. in Computer Science from Glasgow Caledonian University, UK, and a BA from the University of Stirling, UK, in Human Resource Management.

Juan Pablo Valencia has worked as a strategic advisor since 2017, following his contribution to the ABInBev-SABMiller commercial integration, the largest in FMCG history. Prior to that, he was global strategy manager at SABMiller, Strategy and Planning Manager for Hearst in the UK, and consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton (now Strategy&) in their Latin American offices.

 

Over his career, Juan has developed long-lasting relationships with selected clients as a trusted advisor by simplifying complex strategic and commercial issues into manageable yet robust data-driven analyses, insights, and decision-making tools. While he usually addresses top-line growth, category, and portfolio strategies, often combining strategic toolkits with consumer, customer, and/or competitor research, he craves tackling new challenges with existing clients, leveraging existing company knowledge and relationships.

 

Juan has an MBA with Distinction from London Business School. He also holds a BA from the University of Los Andes, Colombia, in Industrial Engineering.
